This blog appeals to a wide spectrum of disciplines, fields and sectors.  After all,  ever improving technologies have revolutionized the way that we teach and learn.

The author, Lillian Williams, is a college educator in Chicago and a former newspaper and television reporter. She holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. While she enjoys teaching journalism courses, she also has published research concerning internships and assessment.  She enjoys explorations of online teaching and learning–a growing segment of her discipline, as well as a concern of the entire academy.
